The DORMA PHA 209 Fire-Rated 4-Point Locking Panic Bolt Set is a heavy-duty, surface-mounted emergency exit hardware solution designed specifically for non-rebated, double-leaf fire and smoke check doors. Engineered to provide immediate egress under panic conditions while maintaining severe perimeter security and fire compartmentalization when closed, this modular system delivers high reliability in high-traffic commercial and public environments.

  • 4-Point Secure Locking: Utilizes top and bottom vertical pullman/latching bolts on each door leaf, ensuring robust four-point engagement along the door frame and threshold without requiring a center latch or vertical rebate.

  • Fire & Life Safety Certified: Tested and certified to EN 1125 for panic exit devices and approved for use on fire and smoke check door assemblies.

  • Independent Leaf Operation: Both door leaves operate independently, allowing immediate full-width evacuation with a single downward push on either horizontal touch bar.

  • Universal Non-Handed Design: Fully reversible for left- or right-hand door leaves, reducing installation complexity and stock-keeping requirements.

  • Modular Architecture: Accommodates standard door widths up to 1,300 mm and door heights up to 2,270 mm (extendable with additional rod sets). Compatible with external DORMA trim options (e.g., PHA PHT levers or knobs with Euro-profile cylinders) for controlled outside access.

  • Durable Construction: Built with heavy-duty metal mechanisms and dogging/rod sleeves engineered to resist mechanical abuse, thermal warping, and environmental wear.
