The DORMA PHA 208 (part of the PHA 2000 series) is a heavy-duty, surface-mounted 3-point locking panic bolt engineered specifically for the inactive leaf (or active leaf in paired configurations) of fire-rated double exit doors. Built for high-traffic commercial and public environments, it combines immediate, single-motion egress with the structural security and latching integrity required for fire-containment barriers.

Key Technical Specifications

  • Locking Configuration: 3-point latching (top vertical rod/latch, bottom vertical rod/latch, and central horizontal deadlocking latch bolt).

  • Application: Double rebated or non-rebated exit doors (timber, steel, or narrow-profile aluminum).

  • Operation: Full-width push/touch bar actuated by horizontal pressure anywhere along the bar length.

  • Fire Rating & Certification: Certified for fire and smoke protection assemblies under EN 1125; compliant with UL/EN fire door assembly standards (check regional approvals up to 120–240 minutes depending on door core construction).

  • Handing: Fully non-handed (field reversible for left- or right-hand opening doors).

  • Standard Dimensions: Accommodates door widths up to 1,300 mm and door heights up to 2,270 mm (extension rods available for doors up to 3,400 mm).
