The dormakaba PHA 212 is a surface-mounted, modular panic bolt double-door set engineered for non-fire-rated, double-leaf emergency escape doors. Providing a combined 4-point locking configuration (2 vertical locking points on the inactive leaf and 2 vertical locking points on the active leaf), this setup ensures balanced perimeter security and immediate, effortless egress in life-safety situations.

Product Overview

Designed to comply with EN 1125 panic exit requirements, the PHA 212 system features classic full-width crossbar actuators paired with surface vertical rods and heavy-duty latches. In this 4-point setup, each door leaf secures top and bottom into the frame and sill/floor keepers. Pressing either crossbar immediately retracts the corresponding latch points, allowing occupants to exit quickly without prior hardware familiarity.

Because this set is specifically configured for non-fire-rated (non-FRR) installations, it features standard zinc/steel components optimized for durability and smooth operation in commercial settings where fire-barrier containment certifications are not required.
