The dormakaba (DORMA) PHA 214 is a heavy-duty, 4-point modular crossbar panic exit set engineered specifically for non-fire-rated double doors installed along emergency escape routes. Designed for non-rebated double-door assemblies, this set provides independent two-point vertical rod locking (top and bottom latches) on both door leaves, delivering rigid four-point perimeter security against unauthorized entry while ensuring instant, unimpeded egress under panic conditions.

Key Features

4-Point Perimeter Security: Equips both the active and inactive door leaves with dedicated top and bottom vertical locking latches (2 points per leaf), preventing forced spread or deflection of wide double-door openings.
Independent Leaf Egress: Depressing the crossbar on either leaf instantly retracts that leaf's vertical bolts, allowing immediate escape without requiring sequential opening or coordination.
Integrated Dogging Mechanism: Standard non-fire-rated configuration incorporates mechanical latch dogging (hold-back), allowing latches to stay retracted during peak operational hours for free two-way foot traffic.
Anti-Thrust Protection: Security latch bolts feature anti-thrust mechanisms to resist tampering and external manipulation through the door gap.
Non-Handed Modular Design: Reversible components fit both left- and right-hand opening doors, simplifying on-site layout changes and retrofitting.
